The Dragon in the Cave

Sorry for the long absence orz
This is the first picture for a story. The story was an adaption of an ancient Chinese fable called the Frog in the Well. I changed it because I like drawing dragon more ahahahaaaa (and yes this was homework)
P.S. My writing is not that great, let me know if I should change any section or if there are grammar mistakes etc!

<sub>The Dragon in the Cave
Once upon a time, a time that only lives in the memory of the ancient forests, there lived a young dragon. He had scales of the white snow, and eyes of the emerald forest. The dragon lived in an underground cave that was so deep, only trickles of light could seep through the openings of the rocks. The cave had deep caverns, halls, and a lake so deep and wide that it was impossible to see its end. The lake was blanketed with fields of lilies, and ?????weed idk Water moved in trickles and drops, creating songs of plinks and drips that echoed through the quiet cave. The dragon played, ate and slept in the cave; he never thought about leaving his cave, even though he was always alone. He was content with living in his home, and gave little thought to the world outside.

One day, a big fat frog plopped into the cave, into the lake and on top of the napping white dragon. The white dragon and the big fat frog quickly became friends, as they played, ate and slept in the cave.

Then, one day, the big fat frog said,

Lets go play outside of the cave
Why? There is nothing outside of here!

Said the white dragon as he looks up at the tiny openings of the cave

Look, the sky is so very small compared to my lake of lilies and lily pads.

No! No! No! said the frog

The outside world is so very big! The sky is so far that you can fly for years without reaching its end. The ocean is so wide that you can swim for years without reaching its shore. The earth is so vast that you can run for years without reaching its edge. There are as many songs sang by the wind and birds as stars in the sky. It is so much bigger than your lake of lily pads and it is so very much bigger than your cave of lights and water songs!

The white dragon then agreed to go outside to see the very big world outside of his very small cave. As he flew through the opening of the cave with the big fat frog, he realized the world outside was indeed very big. The world had only seemed small to the white dragon because of his narrow view from the cave. The white dragon and the big fat frog played in the sky with no end, ate from the ocean with no shores and slept on the earth with no edge.
Sometimes, when people look up at the night sky, they can glimpse the white dragon and the big fat frog as they fly in the sky, to an even bigger world beyond the stars.</sub>
